Cars Parking on Footpaths @ Brookwater

Ipswich City Council has and will continue to undertake random inspections of vehicles being illegally parked on footpaths.  Inspections are videotaped and photographed and if warranted fines are issued.  Please note an extract from ICC web site:-

Parking on footpaths

Parking on a footpath could cost more than a fine.

In the interest of community safety, Ipswich City Council is committed to making our neighbourhood streets safe. Parking on the footpath or nature strip is an offence against the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995. In Queensland, this is enforced by officers of Local Government and the Queensland Police.

Parking on footpaths or nature strips is unsafe and illegal.
